Nice location near Bern Wankdorf train station. Staff is quite friendly and chatty. Do not expect to find the regular big red drink, they serve a local coke but it is okay. Food is good, they serve some Japanese fusion. My recommendation is the salade with the Japanese style eggs.

A very particular place, with a nice atmosphere, in an industrial campus like surrounding. A nice outside setting with fire and some girl options. The menu is small, but has excellent dishes. Nice selection of local beers. Worthwhile a visit, when you are in the Wankdorf area.

A very nice restaurant. I enjoyed the vegetarian menu. The apfelschorle was also nice (homemade?). The approach, to serve Water from the crane (WfW) instead of carriyng it arround Switzerland is another nice idea. Great place. Thank you to the friendly team. Sitting outside was also a very enjoyable thing.

We ate Raclette outside over the fire. Great experience, out of the ordinary and a great place for groups. Food was good but not outstanding. Service was polite and helpful

We so truly enjoyed our dinner here. We tried the beef goulash and the bbq. Also found some very unique local drinks on the menu and finished off with a nice chocolate brownie. Thanks for the amazing service

Wow, the beer is cold and good. Really good. Service is awesome, and if you want some amazing beef stew with your beer...they have a damn good one.

Freibank Speis & Trank offers high quality food to reasonable prices. I recommend to reserve ahead, since it takes a while to get there, and you want to be sure to get a table. I am sure foreign traveller's feel at home - the last time I was there, there were English-Speakers at the table next to us. The Menu is meat-centric, but you also can have attractive vegetarian meals. For lunch, there is a slightly reduced menu, but you will get something you like. As entree, I had an aspargus soup. As main dish, I had sausages with a honey-chili sauce, bread-dumplings and vegetable. My dessert was a browney. Everything tasted really great. The portions were fair, you won't leave hungry. My friend had liver, which he also recommended. They have a nice choice of beer and wine to fair prices. The waiters are really friendly. I can only recommend Freibank Speis & Trank! Cheers, Dani A.
